Travis Merrick as know by his friends:

Travis was a truly gifted person. He was extremely intelligent and selfless. The best thing I can say about him was how much he cared for those around him. I used the word selfless and at his core, Travis would put others before himself without ever a thought.

What always amazed people who met him was how much knowledge he had. From working on side projects that generated electricity using Brown’s Gas to writing computer code to music, movies, religion, politics, and on. He had the ability to remember everything and he could dazzle you with it. But even better was how he could make you laugh. I think I benefited more than most being able to work everyday with Travis. There was never a dull moment and he always kept me smiling!

Travis, I miss you everyday, but we will strive on in your honor my friend! Our only peace comes knowing you are a Christian and right now God has you working on some amazing project, like the next universe!
